Day 10 July 21 2016 Rest day at Iraty
Our off day. It was a pleasant stay in the cottage. Heavy fog enveloped our little cottage, filling the air with mystique. But we knew we had companions. The cows and sheep knocked on our door or window constantly. Somehow, the sound of cowbells made the place more tranquil, if that made any sense at all. We took a short hike for panoramic view of the surrounding mountains next day. The morning fog persisted. So we went back to the plateau that we first came across. There we had wonderful pictures of the meadows and peaks, as the plateau was like a giant coliseum and the mountains were the stately walls. Clouds were busy in motion, playing one scene after another.
